Farmer Kariuki and his wife from Othaya are a happy couple. After using Rutuba Organic Fertilizer on their coffee in year 2012 November, their life changed.
For so many years, the couple used to harvest their coffee alone. However, on using Rutuba Organic Fertilizer they found themselves becoming employers for the first time. For the first time ever on their farm, they employed casual laborers to pick their coffee. That was not all. When they took it to the factory, the clerks did not believe the weight of the coffee from Kariuki. As a result, his had to be weighed again after all the other farmers' coffee since he was told that it had to be spread on the ground in the presence of the factory officials just to ensure that their were no additives!
He embodies the vision of Rutuba Bio Agric and Organic Fertilizer ltd, the vision of modernizing farming and letting farmers smile all round as Kariuki and his wife have done.
